ELIZABETH AYIKU

FOUNDER / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Elizabeth is a filmmaker and community care advocate based in Los Angeles, CA. Her narrative feature film "me little me" explored the complexities of trauma, mental health, and eating disorder recovery through the lens of a black woman. While creating this film, elizabeth encountered a powerful truth: it’s impossible to effectively address mental health issues when basic needs aren’t being met. This realization ignited her passion to create meaningful change in the lives of those who need it most.
Understanding the significant gaps in support for marginalized communities, Elizabeth established the me little me foundation to provide free, racially and culturally competent services specifically for communities of color. By naming the organization after her film, she honors her commitment to fostering healing and resilience in these communities.
